In the remote college town of Silvercreek, Pennsylvania, an art student sleeps with a married man, unleashing a supernatural being that haunts her until she joins forces with locals to uncover the curse’s dark past and attempts to stop the evil creature once and for all.

"Cheat" is a psychological horror thriller and the latest feature film from Four Eighteen Films. The film had its World Premiere during the Opening Night of Frightfest UK in famed Leicester Square in the West End of London, England. Frightfest is considered the UK's best, brightest and largest independent international thriller, fantasy and horror film festival (which we think is pretty rad).

This screening is part of a multi-city Theatrical RoadShow leading up to the official U.S. digital release on Apple TV on January 24, 2025. Four Eighteen Films are the latest indie filmmakers to buck the system and embrace the new trend of micro distribution, a movement by filmmakers taking more control of their films release without a traditional studio or distributor.
